Municipal Parks

The city has 5 municipal parks for your enjoyment. Each provides a variety of recreation opportunities.

• Idle Hour Park/Moon Lake
  Fishing, jogging track, nature trail, playground, and picnic areas with grills, tennis courts, covered picnic pavilions and outdoor volleyball courts. Clubhouse available for rental.
• Lakewood Park
  Fishing, playgrounds, picnic areas with grills, covered picnic pavilion, and 18 hole golf course.
• Southside Park
  Tennis courts, outdoor basketball court, playground, picnic areas with grills, softball fields, covered picnic pavilions, and swimming pool.
• Austin Sumbry Park
  Fishing, playground, picnic areas with grills, softball field, covered picnic pavilions and horse arena.
• Meadowlane Park
  Recreation center, jogging track, playground, picnic areas with grills, softball fields, football field, covered picnic pavilions and swimming pool.
