Softball and baseball is a major part of the recreation program and the fields listed indicate where the different leagues are played.

• Southside Softball Complex - Men and Ladies Church League.
• Darnell Field - Central High School Varsity & B Team Baseball. Dixie major & minor’s baseball.
• Idle Hour Park Sports Complex - Phenix City Girl’s Softball, Phenix City Little League, Phenix City Dixie Boys.
• Lakewood - Coach Pitch
• Meadowlane - Phenix City Housing Authority

Tennis:

• Southside Park – Offers two free courts.
• Idle Hour Park – Offers four free courts.
• Cliff Farrar Tennis Center – Offers eight courts. Fee charged per hour.
  Monday - Thursday 3PM - 9PM. Closed Fridays. Saturday 9AM - 4PM and Sunday 1PM - 6PM.
• Summer Tennis Clinic - Registration June 2nd – July 24th

Swimming:

• Southside Swimming Pool
  Hours of Operation: June 1st daily 1PM - 6PM. Closed on Wednesday. Available for parties 7PM to 9PM except for Sunday & Wednesdays. Call (334) 291-4719 for reservations.
• Spencer Recreation Pool
  Hours of Operation: June 1st daily 1PM - 6PM Closed Saturday, Sunday and holidays.
