Area Parks and Zoos

RiverWalks – Phenix City’s RiverWalk, preserved with most of its natural environment, begins just north of the Amphitheater and meanders along the Chattahoochee River ending at 14th Street. Equipped with a 200-foot bridge resting over Holland Creek, light posts every 50-feet, 3 observation decks, and benches along its winding path.  The Columbus RiverWalk runs 20 miles from the National Infantry Museum, through historic downtown Columbus, to the Lake Oliver Marina.  The Columbus RiverWalk also is equipped with benches, observation decks and light posts.
