7th Annual CHATTAHOOCHEE GOSPEL JUBILEE Saturday April 17 10:30 A.M. to 6:00 P.M Phenix City Amphitheater and Riverwalk Free Admission Members of The Chattahoochee Valley Southern Gospel Music Association will be showcased in a continuous Gospel Concert on The Amphitheater stage. Several groups and soloists will be featured. Activities for all ages will be set up in the parking lot and Riverwalk such as face painting,games, blow up toys, train rides, puppet shows and more. Local Youth Groups from various churches will set up a FOOD COURT including hot dogs, burgers,sandwiches, deserts and novelties. All proceeds from food sales will go back to the churches to fund youth programs. In addition to local Southern Gospel Music peformances, several humanitarian agencies will also set up booths with information pertaining to recieving help in areas such as food banks, clothing needs and help with utility and medical bills. The HEAVEN'S SAINTS and The Christian Motorcyclists Association will be there with their beautiful motorcycles to share information about their ministries. NIGHT OF LIGHTS- Thursday Dec. 2nd Santa's elves have been busy decorating The Riverwalk, The Amphitheater and spreading Christmas cheer all around. Join us on Thursday DECEMBER 2nd at 6:30 p.m. at the Amphitheater for a fun filled evening of live entertainment followed by the lighting of The Riverwalk and FIREWORKS! Join us for another SPECIAL night as we celebrate the season in Phenix City. We will be adding even more beautiful decorations at Moon Lake this year and we would like to invite YOU to help. Churches, schools, civic organizations, businesses and friends of Phenix CIty, are invited to help us decorate and extend Christmas greetings to the community. This is a great networking opportunity you won't want to miss out on. Parks and Recreation will provide designated areas to decorate. You will be allowed to begin decorating on Dec. 7th for the Opening Night on Dec. 9th. We ask that you keep your decorations up until after Dec. 28th.Your decorations should be festive and tastefully branded with your logo or appropreate signage. DECEMBER 9th- each participating business is invited to set up a booth or table or plan a fun activity near your decoration. We will light up the night and give your business or group a chance to shine. You may give away treats or information or just be present to extend Christmas greetings to your community. We will provide GOLF CARTS FOR THOSE UNABLE TO WALK AROUND THE LAKE. (Opening night only) We will also have TRAIN RIDES for children provided by Rev. Whitacre, and LIVE MUSIC The Pavillion will be transformed by The ART CENTER volunteers and Santa himself will be there for a brief visit.
